Malaysia:

the name "Malaysia" was adopted in 1963 when the Federation of Malaya, Singapore, North Borneo and Sarawak formed a 14-state federation. Malaysia is a federation of 13 states (in Malay, Negeri). Eleven states are located on the Malay Peninsula while two are on the island of Borneo.
